Two tonnes of fresh New Zealand lobster are headed to Shanghai as part of a high-value Kiwi food basket being delivered overnight by Air New Zealand.The flight is partly underwritten by $1 million of ‘fast track’ funding under the government’s $600 million aviation support package for exporters and airlines.The consignment comprises about 4,000 crayfish, as well as salmon and manuka honey, destined for China’s second biggest city.In a statement, Transport Minister Phil Twyford said the government was stepping in to ensure New Zealand had the su...
