The largest cold storage operator in the world has sought consent for a massive new facility in a Canterbury industrial hub.Carter Group is the developer behind Iport, a business park on 122 hectares of industrial land in Rolleston, a fast-growing town 25 kilometres southwest of Christchurch.Lyttelton Port Company was an early backer, acquiring a 27-hectare site in the business park for its MidlandPort inland freight hub, which is connected to the port by rail.Last year, Lineage Logistics purchased a neighbouring 7ha site at 64 Iport Dr.Global...
