Global dairy prices have ended the current season on a positive note.The GDT price index rose 3.3% to an average price of US$3,861 (NZ$6,333) a metric tonne (MT) in the fortnightly Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction, the last of the New Zealand season.Compared to the first auction of the season, the index is now 14% ahead of where it started having recovered from five-year lows in August.The NZ dairy season ends on May 30.
