Global dairy prices have bounced back after a Christmas and New Year drop.The average price at Tuesday night’s Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction lifted 1.4% to US$4,146/MT (NZ$7,316).It was the first auction since Dec 3, when the average price lifted, followed by drops on Dec 17 and Jan 7.There was also 8% less volume sold, with 27,785 tonnes of product changing hands compared to just over 30,100 tonnes on Jan 7.Whole Milk Powder (WMP), were buoyed going into the Christmas break, driven by Chinese stockpiling.WMP, which has the b...
