New Zealand is taking on Canada over the implementation of its dairy tariff rate quotas, arguing they have cost exporters about $68 million in lost market access so far.NZ has started dispute settlement proceedings under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), trade and export growth minister Damien O’Connor said.According to O’Connor, it marks the first dispute that has been taken by any party under the agreement.“Our priority is to ensure that New Zealand exporters have meaningful a...
