New Zealand’s 2024 milk production was the country’s highest in five years.During the calendar year, NZ produced 1.92 billion kilograms of milk solids (kgMS), according to figures released by the Dairy Companies Association of NZ on Monday evening.It’s the highest figure since before 2020 and up 2.1% compared to 2023, when 1.88b/kgMS was produced.On a tonnage basis, it was the highest in the three years, with 21.53 million tonnes produced over the 12 months, up 1.3% on 2023.In 2021, 21.8m tonnes were produced.While p...
