Skellerup shares hit record as US dairy sales support profit

Skellerup Holdings shares rose to an all-time high as sales growth in the United States dairy industry helped the rubber goods maker match last year's record profit despite the pandemic knocking its industrial unit. The shares rose as high as $2.63 and were recently up 4.4 percent at $2.60, valuing the company at about $512 million.  Skellerup had already primed investors for a strong result in June, and today reported a net profit of $29.1 million in the 12 months ended June 30, largely unchanged from a year earlier.
