Wools of New Zealand is set to launch an online marketplace for the wool industry.The Natural Fibre Exchange (NFX) will enable farmers to sell their wool direct to both local and international manufacturers, allowing faster price discovery and feedback on wool types and specifications.Wools of NZ chief executive John McWhirter said given the current rising market, in which demand for wool was exceeding supply, the system should help unlock increased returns for wool growers.“We expect the NFX platform to have a positive impact on the glob...
