Manufacturers and sellers of traditional fibreglass insulation products, including the market-leading Pink Batts, aren't likely to welcome the new beefed up building code with open arms.The code updates, mandated by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) under its ‘H1’ rules, layer additional requirements for roof, window, wall and underfloor insulation onto builders.
