Five-month virus extension for Healthy Homes compliance

The government has given landlords another five months to get their houses in order, a move welcomed by home owners who are facing a looming July 1 deadline to adhere to the new Healthy Homes Standard.Associate Housing Minister Kris Faafoi today announced the extension to Dec. 1, by which time landlords will be expected to include detailed information in their tenancy agreements about heating, insulation, ventilation and other compliance under the terms of the standard.Faafoi said as part of the compliance process, landowners will have needed t...
