April’s sale numbers from Auckland's biggest realtor Barfoot & Thompson show average prices continued to surge throughout the month.Managing director Peter Thompson said trading had remained positive through what was traditionally a quieter month with moderately higher prices and strong sales numbers. That saw average house price sales push out to $1.11 million, or 0.6% higher than March levels across 1,107 properties in the city, the highest sales number for an April in 19 years for the firm's 76 offices.Thompson said wh...
