Metroglass first-half profit falls 15%, downgrades annual outlook

Metro Performance Glass said first-half net profit fell 15 percent due to variable construction activity and heightened competition. The glass manufacturer has also downgraded its full-year earnings before interest and tax by up to 22 percent, although that will still be above the previous year's result.
