Ryman Healthcare's annual net profit rose 60% because of property revaluations but underlying profit was down 7.3% because of covid-19 challenges.The retirement village operator also announced chief executive Gordon MacLeod is stepping down and the company plans an international search to replace him and that it has bought two sites for new villages at Karaka, south of Auckland and in Cambridge.MacLeod will stay on until his replacement is found.Ryman's net profit for the year ended March rose to $423.1 million from $264.7m the previous...
