The founder of collapsed retailer Redcurrent, Rebecca Kain, who went on a rent strike during the first nationwide covid lockdown, has been bankrupted by a mall owner.The six-month liquidation of the homeware and lifestyle retailer finished up early last month after EY’s Larissa Logan and Rhys Cain couldn’t find a buyer for the business.The pair were appointed back in February, with Kain attributing its collapse “to the many challenges in retail in recent years, not least of all the effects of covid”.The retailer had...
