Steak, well done – is a rare thing.Like my puns, Jervois Steak House is a bit sad and dated. Yet the tables are full on Saturday evening when my partner and I take a booth at the Ponsonby institution. Founded by celebrity chef Simon Gault and restaurateur Richard Sigley, the classic grill has been going for almost 20 years.
