German giant Intersnack Group will become the new owner of biscuit maker Griffin’s Foods after it agreed to buy out the remaining shares of a joint venture with Universal Robina.In a statement provided to BusinessDesk, Intersnack said it would acquire the further 60% of shares in Griffin’s owner Unisnack NZ. The sale price and terms were not disclosed.However, in a July filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Universal Robina said it would receive net cash proceeds of US$476m for shares, with Intersnack also assuming US...
