"Major international acts" and fatter margins have helped Hallenstein Glasson (HLG) raise its bottom line, as the company posted interim trading results on Thursday.Despite sales falling marginally to $223 million from $223.3m, the group recorded a net profit after tax (Npat) of $21.1m in the six months to Feb 1, up 1.5% compared with the same period last year.HLG shares rose 1.59% to $6.40 on early trading after the company recorded an 8.3% sales jump during the first seven weeks of the second quarter, adding “full ye...
