Customers love the convenience of Paywave transactions and are often frustrated when retailers and cafés don't offer it.  One of the key barriers to switching on Paywave has been the relatively high fees charged for credit and contactless debit transactions in New Zealand, so last week's announcement the government is moving to regulate interchange payments is good news for any retail business and, ultimately, good news for consumers.   Hopefully, as fees come down, more businesses will switch on contactless paymen...
