Air NZ adopts skeleton 'get-you-home' international flights

Air New Zealand will slash its international long haul service by 85 percent over coming months, operating a "minimal schedule to allow Kiwis to return home and to keep trade corridors with Asia and North America open," the airline announced this morning.It is also already starting to identify a wave of redundancies and confirmed it is "in discussions with the government", its 52 percent owner about the immediate future.The company's shares were placed in trading halt, with full details of schedule changes to be advised in the coming days.Howev...
