Business events worth $315m at risk from covid-19

Business events and conferences worth $315 million are at risk between now and the end of the year, due to the covid-19 response, an industry body estimates. Conference organisers are waiting for a government directive on mass gatherings this week and have already been affected by tighter travel restrictions announced over the weekend.
