2degrees goes all in with Ericsson for 5G

2degrees has announced mobile network equipment vendor Ericsson as its sole 5G network partner.Ericsson will provide the equipment for the core and the radio access network (RAN) of 2degrees' 5G network that is due to be switched on by the end of the year.2degrees chief executive Mark Aue said the network build began in 2020 and the first 5G sites will be in central Auckland and central Wellington, with 100 sites overall planned for 2021.“To get the best possible experience, we’re going to be integrating a full core and 4G and 5...
