Google Cloud commits to launching NZ region

Google is committing to the launch of a new cloud region in Aotearoa New Zealand as part of its next wave of additions to its global network, although the specifics of the region are still underway.This will mean that any businesses that have their operations based in Google’s Cloud will be able to store their data onshore and access certain services with reduced latency.Alister Dias, Google Cloud’s vice president for Australia and NZ, said that Google Cloud wants to serve the increasingly digital NZ businesses.“Our NZ region...
