RBNZ breach: KPMG review 'near its final stages'

The KPMG-led review into the data breach of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand is nearly complete.RBNZ customer data was compromised when hackers exploited a vulnerability in the FTA file-sharing software of Accellion, which was used by the bank.An RBNZ spokesperson said the review is near its final stages but the release date and costs of the review are still to be confirmed.The independent review into the data breach was announced on Jan 29.
