Vocus Group Limited has agreed on a deal that would see 100% of its share capital acquired by a consortium of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets – MIRA – and Aware Super.On Feb 8, MIRA proposed the acquisition at A$5.50 per share before Vocus announced on Feb 23 that Aware Super had joined the consortium.The scheme consideration values Vocus Group at A$3.5 billion.It now looks unlikely that an initial public offer for its business unit Vocus New Zealand will take place, despite Vocus Group confirming in November it was still i...
