The Warehouse Group’s sales decline eased slightly in the first quarter of the financial year.The group, which comprises The Warehouse, Noel Leeming and Warehouse Stationery stores, reported total sales of $668 million for the 13 weeks to Oct 27, a decrease of 2.5% compared with the same period last year.The contraction represented a relative improvement on the 5.9% year-on-year decline experienced in the final quarter of last year.Interim chief executive John Journee said the trading conditions remained challenging, but th...
