Life pass holders for the financially troubled Mt Ruapehu ski field are being asked if they would pay to continue using their passes.They will be asked if they would pay a $2,500 transfer fee and a levy of up to $250 per year for two to three years to support a new entity operating the Turoa and Whakapapa ski fields, including the Sky Waka Gondola.Their support appears to be needed to trigger financial concessions from the government for a plan that could avoid the operator going into liquidation.Ruapehu Alpine Lifts Ltd (RAL) was placed under...
