New Zealand’s total milk volume, total milksolids and per cow production were the highest on record in the 2020-21 season.Average milk production per cow was 397 kilogram of milksolids, a 3.1% increase from 385kg last season and the highest on record, according to the annual NZ Dairy Statistics report, produced by DairyNZ and Livestock Improvement Corporation.The herd, meanwhile, shrank slightly.
