Summerset Group has reported a successful fourth quarter for 2022, achieving 277 settlements for occupation rights, which is 18% higher than the same period in 2021.
The total settlements for the twelve months to 31 December 2022 were 1,007, compared with 978 sales achieved over the same period in 2021.
Despite the tough market conditions, Summerset CEO Scott Scoullar noted the encouraging result, which was driven by factors such as community, security and health.
The Sales team are working hard to facilitate settlements and will manage any further property market conditions.
Diversification of sales was seen across the North Island and 64% of settlements were independent living units.
Pre-sales for Summerset's first village in Cranbourne North, Victoria, Australia will begin in the first half of 2023.
