Chorus announces interim executive appointments

Chorus has made two interim internal appointments to its executive team, following the announcement of a new chief executive.

Effective April 15, current deputy chief financial officer, Katrina Smidt, will serve as acting chief financial officer.

Meanwhile, Darren McLean, who is Chorus' head of customer engagement, has been appointed as acting chief commercial officer.

Both Smidt and McLean will take on these additional roles while continuing their current responsibilities.

Chorus noted that the search for a chief operating officer is expected to be a lengthy process as the company seeks to find the ideal candidate.
