Contact Energy director Elena Trout has resigned after nine years of service.
Trout, who served as an independent non-executive director since October 2016 and was also the chair of the health, safety, and environment committee, will continue in her role until the company's annual shareholders meeting on September 16, 2025.
At that meeting, she has decided not to stand for re-election.
