Contact Energy director resignation –Elena Trout

Contact Energy Limited (Contact) has today announced the resignation of Elena Trout as a Contact director after nine years of service.

Elena will continue in her role until the Contact Annual Shareholders Meeting, which will be held on 16 September 2025, where she has decided not to stand for re-election.

Elena has served as an independent non-executive director since October 2016, including serving as Chair of the Health, Safety and Environment Committee.

The Contact Board Chair, Rob McDonald, said he and the Board wish to sincerely thank Elena for her significant leadership and governance over the last nine years of service.

“Elena has made an invaluable contribution to Contact and the wider energy sector. We wish her the best for the future,” said Mr McDonald.
