David Mair has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of Sanford.
Mair, who is currently a director of the company, will assume the role on May 1 2024.
The appointment comes after a thorough process to identify and consider suitable candidates.
Sanford chair, Sir Rob McLeod, expressed his delight with Mair's appointment and his confidence in delivering exceptional results.
Craig Ellison, another Sanford director, has been serving as the acting CEO since August 2023 and will continue to be on the board as a non-independent director.
Mair, who has significant leadership experience, was the CEO of Skellerup Holdings and has been a director of Sanford since November 2022.
