Summerset Group Holdings Limited, the largest retirement village operator in New Zealand, has reported an underlying profit of NZ$82.5 million for the six months ended 30 June 2022, a 9.2% increase on the first half of 2021.

The reported (IFRS) profit after tax was NZ$134.6m and total assets grew to NZ$5.4 billion, up 22.9%.

The Company has responded well to the economic and housing market pressures and continue to see strong demand for their retirement living offer.

They have also acquired three new sites across New Zealand and Australia and delivered 223 new retirement units, their second highest first half ever.

The Board has declared an interim dividend of NZ10.7 cents per share.
