Fonterra appoints Alistair Field as director

Fonterra has announced the appointment of Alistair Field as an independent director on its board.

Field, who is based in Australia, has 30 years of experience in the mining, metals, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.

He will officially join the board on November 1, 2024.

Field's appointment comes after the retirement of Scott St John in March.

Farmers will have the opportunity to ratify Field's appointment during the voting at Fonterra's annual meeting on November 14.
