Fonterra has reported a strong performance in the 2024/25 financial year, with total group revenue reaching $26 billion, a 15% increase.
The co-operative also achieved a 30.6% increase in total cash returns to shareholders, amounting to $16b.
Operating profit was up 13% to $1.73b, while profit after tax was down 4% to $1.08b.
However, when tax-adjusted, it was up 13%.
The final farmgate milk price for the 2024/25 season was $10.16 per kgMS, resulting in $15.3b in milk payments to New Zealand farmers.
Fonterra's full-year dividend for FY25 was 57 cents per share, up from 55 cents.
Looking ahead, the co-operative revised its forecast for the 2025/26 season's milk collections to 1.525 billion kgMS and estimated the farmgate milk price range to be between $9 and $11 per kgMS.
