Henderson Far East reports 2.4% half-year return

Henderson Far East Income has reported a net asset value total return of 2.4% for the half-year ended February 28, 2025.

The company's share price total return was 3.2%.

In comparison, the FTSE World Asia Pacific ex Japan Index had a total return of 4.6%.

The company declared a second interim dividend of 6.20p per ordinary share, representing a 1.6% increase from the previous year.

Henderson Far East Income issued 5.2 million shares in the six months to February 28, 2025, raising £9.7m for further investment.

A further 1.3 million shares have been issued since the half-year end, raising £2.8m.
