James Peters named Fletcher Building's NZ chief

Fletcher Building has appointed James Peters as the new chief executive of its New Zealand distribution division.

Peters, who brings over 25 years of experience in growing distribution businesses, will assume the role on May 1 2024.

He was previously the vice president at Amazon Japan, where he played a key role in the expansion of the fashion business.

Fletcher Building chief executive, Ross Taylor, expressed confidence in Peters' ability to lead the distribution team and capitalise on growth opportunities.

Peters will be relocating from the United States to Auckland with his family.
