Lain Jager has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of a2 Milk, effective from December 1, 2024.
Jager, who is based in New Zealand, brings extensive international agribusiness leadership experience to the company, having previously served as the chief executive of Zespri International.
Zespri is the world's largest marketer of kiwifruit.
Jager's appointment will be put to shareholders for election at the annual meeting in 2025.
Additionally, Sandra Yu will become the chair of the board's people and remuneration committee on November 22, 2024, replacing outgoing director Warwick Every-Burns.
