Mercury has lowered its ebitdaf guidance for the 2025 financial year to $760 million, down from $820m.

The revision is attributed to a projected 150GWh decrease in full-year hydro generation, which is expected to reach 3,400GWh. This decrease is a result of continued dry weather in the Taupō catchment and anticipated below-average hydro inflows and lake levels until June 30, 2025.

The company's guidance for ordinary dividends and stay-in-business capital expenditure remains unchanged.

However, it cautioned that the guidance may change and is subject to material events, significant one-off expenses, or unforeseen circumstances, including changes in hydrological conditions.
