NZCC grants clearance for Apollo merger

NZX-listed Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) has been granted clearance by the New Zealand Commerce Commission to merge with Apollo Tourism & Leisure Limited.

The merger is subject to the sale of certain ATL assets in New Zealand and clearance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which is expected to announce a decision on 29 September 2022.

thl's Chief Executive Officer, Grant Webster, said the NZCC's decision is an important step towards the successful completion of the merger.
