Peter James withdraws Vista Group director nomination

Potentia-nominated director candidate, Peter James, has withdrawn his nomination for appointment as a director of Vista Group.

James, who is the current chair of MYOB, DroneShield, and Macquarie Technology Group, informed the Vista board on October 12 that he does not wish to proceed with Potentia's nomination and has withdrawn his consent for immediate effect.

He also requested that the resolution for his appointment not be put to Vista Group's shareholders.

Vista Group has since sought confirmation from Potentia to withdraw the resolution for James' appointment as a director.

The special meeting of shareholders, requested by Admetus Capital (Potentia), is set to vote on the removal of two existing directors and the appointment of two Potentia-nominated directors.
