Promisia Healthcare has provided an operational update for the fourth quarter of the 2025 financial year.
The company announced the appointment of Graeme Dodd as the new chief operating officer, effective from June 9, 2025.
Dodd brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the aged care and health sectors.
Promisia also revealed the expansion of its Nelson Street dementia care facility, with the approval of a 20-bed dementia wing from Te Whatu Ora.
Construction is already under way, and a clinical audit is scheduled for early May.
The company's group occupancy rate remained steady at 87%, with increases at Ripponburn and Ranfurly Manor.
However, Nelson Street experienced a temporary decline due to planned construction activity.
Promisia reported strong demand for its retirement villages, with all available villas at Golden View and Ranfurly fully occupied and waitlists in place.
At Ripponburn, 12 out of 16 villas are occupied, while the remaining four are under contract.
The company also announced the divestment of non-core land parcels adjacent to Aldwins House, with the aim of redeploying capital to higher-priority strategic initiatives.
Promisia reaffirmed its earnings guidance, stating that it remains on track to achieve full-year double-digit earnings growth.
Preliminary unaudited results for the 2025 financial year will be released by the end of May.
