Santana Minerals appoints Paul Miles as NZ manager

Santana Minerals has announced the appointment of Paul Miles as the general manager of its New Zealand subsidiary, Matakanui Gold.

Miles will be responsible for the operational readiness of the Bendigo-Ophir Gold Project and the transition from development to operations.

He will also oversee the building of the operations team, the advancement of the mine plan, and the safe implementation of that plan.

Santana Minerals said Miles, a mining engineer with extensive experience in open cut and underground mine development, will play a key role in directing operational activities and ensuring compliance once the project is in production.
