Third Age Health Services has announced its plans to acquire a 70% stake in a primary care practice that specialises in elder care.

The practice serves aged residential care facilities in the Lower North Island.

The proposed investment for the acquisition is $700,000.

However, the deal is still subject to due diligence and board approval.

In a statement, Third Age Health Services said the move is in line with its commitment to expand and enhance its service offerings for the aging population, and to meet the growing needs of New Zealand's elder community.
