WasteCo's chief financial officer, Sam Vanderpyl, has resigned, with Nigel Franklin, the company's current director of finance, appointed as his replacement.

Vanderpyl's departure was announced by WasteCo, which did not provide any further details regarding the resignation.

Franklin, who has been with the South Island waste solution company for 17 months, will assume the role of chief financial officer immediately.

WasteCo highlighted Franklin's extensive accounting, finance, and commercial experience, including a significant period as CFO for a large private entity.

The Christchurch-based business, established in 2013, offers comprehensive waste solutions and is New Zealand's only diamond certified Toitū Enviromark waste solutions provider.
