MCK: Statement regarding Grand Millennium Auckland

--We thank each and every one of our employees at Grand Millennium Auckland and M Social Auckland for their daily work and dedication for their role as part of the Government’s COVID-19 strategy;

--Of the latest cases, Cases B and C are not employees of MCK or its subsidiaries. It is our understanding that Case B and C are employees or contractors of First Security and any queries relating to their testing compliance or vaccination status must be directed to First Security and not to MCK or the hotel;

--Ongoing support is being provided to Case A who is employed by a subsidiary of MCK;

--The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment issued a determination late yesterday confirming that after 30 April 2021 all employees of managed isolation and quarantine (MIQ) facilities subject to the Requited Testing Order and assessed as completing high risk work in MIQ facilities must be vaccinated. MCK will comply with this determination.
