Tilt Renewables – Special Dividend
The Tilt Renewables Board (“TLT”) has today approved a NZD 6.5 cents per share fully imputed Special Dividend to be paid to shareholders prior to the completion of the upcoming Scheme pursuant to the Scheme Implementation Agreement (“SIA”) with Powering Australian Renewables and Mercury NZ Limited. The record date for the dividend will be 7.00pm (NZ time) Wednesday 21st July with payment made to shareholders on Friday 30th July.
For non-resident shareholders a supplementary dividend of NZD 1.147059 cents per share will also be paid. The dividend will be converted to Australian dollars for Australian resident shareholders on the record date being 21st July 2021.
It should be noted that in accordance with Clause 6.4(e) of the SIA the amount of the dividend will reduce the scheme consideration under the SIA from NZD $8.10 per share to NZD $8.035 per share.
