Appointment of New Director

Bremworth Limited (NZX: BRW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Katherine Turner as an independent director, effective from today. Katherine will also take up the role of Chair of the Audit Committee.

Katherine is a highly experienced finance executive and respected leader and a qualified Chartered Accountant. She is a member of the NZ Institute of Directors and is a Trustee for Lite-foot, a non-profit organisation combining sport and sustainability.

Katherine has held a variety of senior finance and commercial roles in medium and large multinational companies, including Fonterra and Danone. She is currently Vice President Finance for TOMRA Fresh Food and prior to this was Chief Financial Officer at Sanford Limited for three years.

She has a depth of financial and commercial expertise across the manufacturing and primary sectors, and a wealth of experience taking New Zealand products to the world. Katherine’s appointment supports our commitment to a diverse Board and she will be a valued contributor as we move forward with our new strategy.”

Katherine has been appointed by the Board of Directors, as permitted under Bremworth’s constitution. She will hold office until Bremworth’s 2022 Annual Meeting at which time she will offer herself for election by shareholders.
