Director Nominations Update
NZ Automotive Investments Limited announced on 18 July 2022 that the Board had received a nomination from Company director and major shareholder David (Yusuke) Sena of Julian Davidson, whose appointment was to be voted on by shareholders at the Annual Shareholders Meeting on 25 August 2022 (ASM).
Mr Sena has now advised the Company that Julian Davidson has withdrawn his consent to be nominated as a director.
Mr Sena has advised that Mr Michael Stiassny and Mr Gordon Shaw (whose nomination was announced on 18 July 2022) have each confirmed that they will accept an invitation to join the Board from 21 August 2022 to fill two of the casual vacancies that will exist as a result of the director resignations announced on 19 July 2022 and which take effect from 20 August 2022. Mr Sena has further advised that, in accordance with listing rule 2.7.1, Mr Stiassny and Mr Shaw will then retire and stand for election at the ASM.
