Fonterra appoints Director to FSF Management Company Board
Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited has today announced that it has appointed one of its directors, John Nicholls, to the Board of FSF Management Company Limited, the manager of the Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund with effect from the close of the Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund Annual Meeting on 14 November 2022.
John replaces Donna Smit, who will be retiring from the FSF Management Company Limited Board on 14 November 2022, following the announcement of her retirement as a director of Fonterra.
John was elected to the Fonterra Board in 2018. As the owner of several mid-Canterbury dairy farms forming part of the Rylib Group, John is highly focused on investing in and mentoring the next generation of farmers in New Zealand and on safeguarding the sustainability of farming for the long term. John is the current chair of MHV Water, New Zealand’s largest intergenerational irrigation co-operative and has a degree in agriculture and a postgraduate diploma in agricultural science, both from Massey University.
